We have on offer, an ultra-rare treasure China Silver Sycee, measured as 10 Taels of Silver.
Minted during the Qing Dynasty, 27th Year of Guangxu Emperor (1897) for the use of Government Salt Tax Minted from the Provincial Governments.
The massive Sycee has an well-darkened, and beautiful uniform silver toning, achieved naturally over time. Making it very attractive.
This piece is estimated to be at XF+ condition and is ultra rare and hard to come by.
With clear mintage rings on surface, and silver bubble-hole marks made during actual mintage. The inscriptions marks the year, place and reason for its use (Govt salt tax)
This is an official government mintage and not private mint making it further more rare to come by. Many of such original government silvers have been melted off for foreign usage or bullion payment.
This is NOT a copy or Re-strike! Its authenticity is guaranteed for life!
