We have on offer here, a vintage (1911-16) China Tibet Silver Rupee, minted by the Szechuan Provincial Government.
This coin is struck towards the post-Qing tail-end period and the currency is used as trade coinage with its neighbouring India / Nepal region.

This is approximately a good half crown in size with the features of small bust facing left (obv.) and inscription of mint (Sze-chuan) where the coin is struck surrounding a vertical rosette. (rev.)
Circulated with some used and clear scratch marks, the features of the coin is still sharp and well struck, and truly a beautiful and attractive coin of approximately 100 years old.
